iOS 5 tip: Automatically download apps across all iDevices

There’s a chance that some of you already know this, but here’s a small tip from iOS 5: When you like an app when browsing the web on your PC/Mac, you immediately download it from the itunes store. However, if you want to start using it right away, this is what you used to do: go to app store again on your iPhone/iPad and then download the app or sync your device with iTunes. Not anymore.

go to Settings > Store > turn on Automatic downloads for apps.

That’s all you need to do. With this option enabled, every time you download an app on your desktop, a copy of it will be already available on all your iDevices instantly. No need to sync at all.
